1. Have a Records Survey
The DCA staff can help you to identify which records should be transferred to the Digital Collections and Archives. Contact Eliot Wilczek, University Records Manager at 617.636.2439 or eliot.wilczek@tufts.edu for a survey.
2. Set up an Electronic Transfer Site
DCA uses secure dropboxes for the transfer of most electronic files. Please contact Veronica Martzahl, Records Archivist, at 617.627.4588 or veronica.martzahl@tufts.edu to schedule the creation of a dropbox for your office or department.
3. Create a List of Files
The file list should include the number of the files and/or directories you are transferring and then the title of each file and/or directory. Send the list as an email attachment to Veronica Martzahl at veronica.martzahl@tufts.edu.
4. Complete the Records Transfer Form
Complete the online Records Transfer Form once you have transferred your files into the dropbox. This alerts DCA staff that files are ready for pickup. Online instructions for the form are also available.
