Researching your family's history at Tufts? We can help!
Our collections include a wide variety of material documenting the history of student life and activity at Tufts, including student records, student newspapers and other publications, the Jumbo yearbook, and much more.
The best place to begin your research is the Tufts Digital Library, where you may discover photographs of your family member or articles related to their time at Tufts. From the Digital Library you can easily schedule material for a visit to our Reading Room or order high resolution files of materials that are already digitized.
Other useful onsite resources include:
Tufts Combined Catalogs, Bulletins, and Course Announcements, 1854-1970 - for courses, curriculum, fees, and student directory information.
The Jumbo, 1916-2019 - Tufts' undergraduate yearbook.
Our Card Catalog, located in our Reading Room, which is a subject index to University records and periodicals.
We're happy to provide research support to our patrons. For more information about our offsite reference services, please visit our Research webpage.
